Terms of Use

Last updated: May 11, 2026

These Terms of Use apply when you use PoopTracker, the PoopTracker website, or related support services. By using the app or website, you agree to these terms and to any additional terms shown by Apple App Store.

App purpose

PoopTracker is a personal journal for bowel movement, symptom, habit, and gut-health trend tracking. It helps you organize information for self-awareness and conversations with professionals, but it does not replace medical care.

Medical disclaimer

PoopTracker is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, mitigate, cure, or prevent any disease. Health scores, charts, trends, reminders, recommendations, and exports are informational only. Do not ignore professional medical advice because of anything shown in the app. Seek medical care for persistent changes, pain, blood, fever, dehydration, unexplained weight changes, or symptoms that concern you.

Your responsibility when tracking others

You may use PoopTracker for yourself or for a child, dependent, or family member only when you have the right to record and manage that information. You are responsible for the accuracy of entries and for deciding what information to save, export, or share.

No PoopTracker account

PoopTracker does not require a separate developer-operated account. Some features may depend on your device, Apple ID, iCloud, notification settings, App Store purchase status, or other Apple services.

Free features, subscriptions, and purchases

  • The free version may include usage limits shown in the app, such as a monthly record limit.
  • Premium features may be offered through auto-renewable subscriptions, lifetime purchase, or other App Store purchase options.
  • Prices, trial availability, renewal periods, taxes, and terms are shown in the App Store purchase sheet before you confirm payment.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled according to Apple’s subscription rules before the renewal date.
  • Purchase management, cancellation, refunds, family sharing availability, and billing support are handled by Apple.

Apple billing and license terms

Apps downloaded through the App Store are subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement unless a custom EULA is provided. For subscription cancellation or refund requests, use Apple’s official App Store billing tools: Apple Standard EULA, cancel a subscription, request a refund.

Data, sync, and backups

You are responsible for managing your device, iCloud settings, backups, exported files, and shared reports. Deleting the app, deleting iCloud data, disabling sync, changing Apple ID settings, or losing access to a device may make records unrecoverable. Test exports before relying on them for appointments or records.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app or website, attempt to reverse engineer paid features, bypass subscription limits, interfere with security, upload unlawful content, infringe intellectual property, or use PoopTracker to manage sensitive information you do not have the right to handle.

Changes and availability

We may update, add, remove, rename, limit, or discontinue features. The app, website, iCloud sync, App Store purchases, and other services may be unavailable because of maintenance, operating system changes, network issues, Apple service changes, or events outside our control.

Intellectual property

PoopTracker, its design, text, screenshots, icons, software, and related materials are owned by the developer or licensed to the developer. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or create competing services from the app or website except as allowed by applicable law.

Privacy

Your use of PoopTracker is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how app data, iCloud, purchases, website logs, exports, and support emails are handled: Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PoopTracker is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every device or operating system version, or suitable for any specific medical, legal, or professional purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost data; lost profits; medical decisions; missed reminders; sync failures; export issues; or claims arising from your use of or inability to use the app or website.

Termination

You may stop using PoopTracker at any time. We may restrict access to support services or future updates if these terms are violated, if required by law, or to protect the app, users, or services.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app, website, business model, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date shows when this page was last revised. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
